Dr. Lisa Marrache is in her first year as a Maine senator after serving 6 years in the Maine House of Representatives. She is the chair of the Legal and Veterans Affairs Committee and serves additionally on the Health and Human Services Committee. Sen. Marrache recently was selected to go with the Pentagon on a trip to the U.S. Central Command area for a 10-day visit as a member of the prestigious Joint Civilian Orientation Conference this past spring. She has also been a Marshall Memorial Fellow traveling throughout Europe to help work on Transatlantic Relationship issues with the U.S. She traveled with the Next Generation Seminar to Thailand and Hong Kong to look at Pan Asian Health care issues, and was a delegate to China with the American Council of Young Political Leaders. She is active as a practicing family physician with her husband at Elm City Medical Associates. She is President and Founder of the Franco American Heritage Society of the Kennebec Valley, and on the board of the Teague Technology Center in Fairfield.
