About Us

History...

The Mid-Maine Global Forum was founded in 1997 by Linda K. Cotter to promote the discussion of international affairs in Central Maine. Our non-partisan group organizes lectures, study groups and discussions on timely global topics. Events, usually around lunch, are open to the public.

We are grateful for the continuing support of Waterville Rotary, and REM, a grass roots, non-profit organization in Waterville.

School Outreach...

The Mid-Maine Global Forum provides opportunities for students and a teacher from each area high school (Waterville, Fairfield, Messalonskee, and Winslow) to attend the luncheon programs without charge. For more information please contact Barbara Woodlee.
